
Jeffry John Wilson, 57, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, passed away on January 27, 2017.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 9, 2017 at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Rd. S. Fort Wayne, IN, 46814 in Ft. Wayne. K. Paul Maurer of Avalon Missionary Church will officiate the service. Visitation will be held at The Chapel immediately before the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m.A private burial will follow the funeral in Carmel, Indiana. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Indiana Funeral Care.
Jeff was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on October 4, 1959.
Jeff was an active church member at The Chapel, serving in various ministries. While he enjoyed music, the culinary arts and working with people recovering from substance abuse, his most cherished priorities were his faith in Jesus Christ and his family.
Jeff is survived by his father and mother, Marilyn and Norm Wilson, sister Ann Wilson Branks, brother-in-law Paul Branks, and nieces Lauren Branks, Ellen Stephens, Meredith Wilcox and Lillian Branks.
Jeff is preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Herb and Evelyn Strassler and grandparents Ruth and John Wilson and Beatrice and Herbert Strassler.
The family wishes to extend its gratitude to The Chapel, the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Anderson, Indiana and the many friends and relatives who invested in Jeff’s life and supported the family through their loss.
